Trains!
My kids loved the annual train show at the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx so much that we tried to go every year. You won't just enjoy the toy trains, but also the amazing historic miniature replicas of buildings and landmarks, and the creative use of the natural materials. Save clean scraps of paper trash, along with collected leaves, twigs and pinecones. When you come home from this exhibit you can make your own miniature buildings from found objects.
